Jason accidentally found a patch of alkaline land nobody wanted. Out of curiosity Jason reached down and tasted it. The next second Jason came up with a great way to get rich. Turns out back when Jason worked at sea. Jason had seen local fishermen pump up underground salty alkaline water and use it to raise ocean fish. Jason remembered his cousin saying "anyone could feed fish." So Jason would raise premium ocean fish here that his cousin could never see in his life. Turns out Jason used to be a cook at sea. Three years ago his cousin's fish pond was about to go bankrupt. After Jason found out he quit his job and went home to help without hesitation. With Jason taking careful care of it the fish pond quickly came back to life to make more money. Jason also had his cousin open a farmhouse restaurant beside the pond and cooked their himself. In just three years Jason turned his cousin's pond into the biggest fish resort in town. Back then his cousin kept saying they would split the profits once they made money. But when your end dividends came his cousin only gave Jason $100,000. Jason was furious when he saw it. Jason said the pond made at least 2 million in three years so why was he only getting 100,000? But his cousin said what did that 2 million have to do with Jason? The fish were his and the pond was his too. Jason ate and lived off him and now Jason wanted to argue over money. But Jason did not budge and told the chief to just draw up the contract. Whether Jason lost or made money it had nothing to do with the village. The village chief had no choice but to agree. The chief said Jason only had to give him $2,000 a year as a gesture. 10,000 total for five years. Jason was thrilled when he heard it. 120 acres for 10,000 over five years was practically free. The village chief was clearly helping Jason to not let the village chief down. Jason came to the alkaline land the next day and started digging. After his cousin heard about it he brought the villagers over just a gloat. His cousin mocked Jason saying cooking smoke had fried his brain. Nothing could grow on this worthless land. But right after those people left, a technician from town came to find Jason. The technician really admired Jason's courage and came here specifically to work with Jason. With the technicians help Jason's fish pond progressed much faster. In less than half a month they had already finished the earthwork and liner installation. To play it safe the technician decided to test five acres first. Once the water quality passed they could release the fingerlings. And his cousin happened to pass by and see it. His cousin laughed at Jason for dreaming too big. This crappy pond could not even keep loach as alive yet Jason wanted to race fish. Even if Jason got on his knees and begged them now, they would never let Jason come back. After saying that his cousin walked away smuggling. But Jason was not angry at all. Because his cousin's payback was coming soon. That night several regular customers came to his cousin's farmhouse restaurant.
