I have three questions that I love when I get asked by anybody in a recruiter screen and I think there are three that help you stand out from the crowd. I'm a 20 plus year recruiter. I've got a side hustle helping people land their next opportunities. If you like my content hit the like and follow button. You're at the end of a recruiter call and you're being given an opportunity to ask some questions and I think these three questions really help you stand out from the crowd. Number one, how would you describe the team's dynamic and the people that succeed here? It's a great opportunity for you to ask here an answer and then understand what to bring to the table in the next call with the hiring manager. Number two, what qualities or experiences tend to catch the manager's attention during the interview process for this role? Yes, I wrote the question down which you can write these down too when you're in an interview. I love this question. It gives you an opportunity to hear from a recruiter who has likely been hiring for this hiring team for a while. They know who succeeds here. They know what this hiring manager is looking for and they will give you intel that you can use in your next interview. And then number three and the last one, is there anything in my background that you think might raise a question or need clarification before feeling comfortable moving me forward? I'm asking for the role and I'm giving the recruiter the opportunity to say back to me, there's something in your background that I'm a little if yawn or no. I feel like you answered everything really eloquently. I'm excited about moving you forward, etc. Then you flip around and you ask them about the timeline for the next call. So three questions. I'll give them to you again. Number one, how would you describe the team's dynamic and the type of person who tends to succeed here? Number two, what qualities or experiences tend to catch the hiring manager's attention during the interview process for this role? And last but not least, is there anything in my background that might raise a question or need clarification before you feel comfortable moving me forward? Based on the answer that you get from the recruiter, you then flip around and you say, can you share with me what the timeline is for the next step? Okay? Good luck out there. It's a tough market, but not impossible. If you've got Any questions? Drop it in the comments section.
