It caused horrific cancers, and it continues to cause birth defects today. This woman's name is Chantona. In 2021, she tried to sue these companies, along with 14 other chemical companies for producing agent orange. In an absolute betrayal of justice, she lost that case because a French court ruled, it couldn't judge a case involving the actions of a sovereign state, the USA. And these horrible, soulless corporations and their disgusting, shriek-dick lawyers argued, successfully, that they were just following orders from the US government and couldn't be held responsible for how the military used their horrible, horrible product. That is the standard defense of these war profiteers, and it really delegitimizes the legal industry every time there's a ruling like this. The concept of justice is lost on corporate lawyers. To pre-empt any bad faith challenges to the information presented here, I said that BASF and Bayer were jointly responsible for the production of agent orange. BASF supplied 2.4D asset to Monsanto. Without 2.4D asset, you do not get agent orange. That is direct responsibility in the supply chain. And Bayer literally owns Monsanto. It's their parent organization. And anybody who dares to get technical or pedantic about the detail here or rushes in in defense of Nazi scientists or a century of chemical genocide.
