My thoughts on the recent viral violinist screwing up the wedding entrance song.. #greenscreen

So this video got super viral about this violinist having her iPad glitching out and right as the bride is walking down she cannot remember the music, have it memorized or anything like that she has no backup option so I didn't want to share my thoughts on that so no one is perfect things will happen I work in the industry and I've seen all kinds of scenarios from where's the ring and something happens to instrument or iPads do glitch out especially because of the heat and all that good stuff always always having a backup option I learned is the key to making sure that things work out so one thing when you have this kind of scenario where you're playing a wedding song that's as the bride is walking down it has to be memorized to an extent or she wasn't able to really get herself out of the situation to a point where it was convincing enough from from their point of view and from our point of view that she knew what she was doing when you're working with good good musicians you already know how to deal with a scenario like that if something happens like that you have that backup option already that secondary iPad or you ready to just know the melody and you're able to wiggle yourself out of that situation and to make it like a publicity stunt for her it's kind of I mean I get it you know any kind of publicity is a good publicity perhaps she is able to kind of turn it into a marketing thing but it is kind of sad as well because it is this special moment that cannot be recreated so I think it's it's awful I think that the bride probably must be pretty sad to hear to see that happening especially paying for such a service and this this going on and this this violin is just spinning it off for her own publicity it is it is a strange it doesn't make much sense to me but that's how kind of the world works is that even with bad things like this that it turns into something that could become a viral sensation and probably she's going to get more bookings from that which is weird to me to think about but always always especially in a situation like this having a backup option knowing exactly how to operate in a situation like this having it on another app I think she was not using forescore there are other apps and you know things do happen once again we are human but knowing that having that experience doing this for many years you have to know how to deal with a situation like this in a more practical manner and yeah so choose wisely who you decide to work with definitely don't work with someone like this because it is kind of sad to see that you're a special moment you're paying a lot of money for and that it's not even about money money at that point it's a priceless situation and she's just making fun of it in your face
