(upbeat music) - What an epic dinner party. Part of Amazon warrior women are swaying their hips, giving off some serious bedroom eyes. Everyone's clapping for graver's speech, but verilius is already annoyed. Cpia takes the chance to get closer to verilius. As seeing how chummy they're being, Elysia is pissed, and then Cpia's finally puts two and two together. His sister has a thing for their boss. Right then, graver drags in four rebellious slaves and announces they're all getting executed. And he hands the decision over to verilius, who's just arrived from out of town. Slick move by graver. If verilius accepts, it means he's taking orders from them. But verilius is the new rising star of the Senate. He sees right through it. He flat out refuses graver's suggestion and says they should be sent to the arena instead, so the people of Capua can witness the traitor's face, solid idea. As the crowd applauds, Elysia falls even harder for verilius. Meanwhile, graver stands there frozen, not knowing what to say. Then, out of nowhere, verilius' own man sepius steps up and says they should be executed on the spot since the rebellion started right here. Verilius is dumbfounded. As he has no clue why this guy is suddenly going against him. After all, no one told him that Cpia isn't just Cpia's sister. She's also his love. Graver, thrilled to have backup, immediately agrees with Sepius, seeing verilius all alone. Graver's wife Elysia jumps in to support him, towards silence. Finally, Elysia's father, Abenis, walks over and says both sides have a point. But since Ludia was the biggest victim of the slave rebellion, she should be the one to get revenge. Graver quickly suggests letting Ludia pick one person for an on-the-spot execution. And since Abenis has been trying to seduce Ludia all along, he chimes in to back her up, too. Ludia is completely caught off guard. She hasn't said a word. How did she even get dragged into this?
