So, I'm doing my job 24 hours, it's an edge of chess. So, it's been 24 hours and here's why I do it so far. The chess board is made up of 8 rows and 8 columns, plus 64 squares in total. Each set has 16 pieces and apparently every single one of them has a job. They came, the most important piece. He can only move one square in any direction, which is ironic because everyone else is fighting for you. It's the only piece that can't actually be captured, once he's trapped, game over. The queen, she's a body, most powerful piece on the board. She can't move any number of squares up, down, sideways, diagonally. She didn't draw as she liked. The roof, straight lines only, up, down, sideways, very disciplined, respected. The bishop, diagonals only. He's also stuck on one column for the entire game. Lifetime project. The knight moves on the L shape and is the only piece that can jump without us. You don't really see anybody, the pawn looks useless, most two squares on his first move, they're one square after that. But if he makes it all the way across the board, he can't turn into any other piece, except the day. Unpossessed. It's a weird move where if a pawn moves two squares forward and lands next to yours, you can capture it like it only moves once. It feels like it moves, but it's not. Castling. This is when the king and the rook switch places in one move. It was really keen saying, I don't feel safe here. Checkmate, this is when the king gets struck. No escape, no defense. Game over. So yeah, that's just 24 hours later. Well, that's not everything. Nah. It's kind of playing a real game now. I guess we're about to find out.
