Hi friends, a quick update from the Moss household. It's been a very busy day in the health world for Mama and Papa Moss. Sorry I've been MIA. I've also been working mass off just to try to stay afloat in alive. I'm at supper right now. My husband's at soccer, but the boy is on the supper with the girls. But anyway, my husband got his stitches out this morning and we're still waiting on the results from the pathologist to see if they got clear margins and get all the cancer out. I finally made it to my long-awaited OB-GYN appointment to talk about getting a hysterectomy, partial or full, not sure. You'll know that I have a huge mass on my ovary, both of my ovaries are riddled with cysts. I have a huge endometriol man inside that mass. I have full-blown endometriosis. The pain is getting unbearable. The headaches are getting worse. So I need y'all to drop some comments. If you've had a hysterectomy, I know a lot of moms follow me. If you've already done a research and decided not to, maybe drop a comment on why. If you did get one and it was successful or good experience, please let me know. Nonetheless, though, she's sending me for an emergency ultrasound in a couple days to make sure the mass hasn't doubled because the last time we waited over a year, it doubled. It's been almost a year, so fingers crossed. It's not gotten too much bigger. Y'all know, I lose my insurance at the end of this month and I'm the full-time provider for six kids and my husband and myself. So she also said I would be out of work. If I went through with this, I would be out of work for minimum three and a half weeks and I would be out of the gym for a minimum of six and a half weeks, which y'all know is my other work. I'm a personal trainer and women's fitness specialist. So those options don't really work for me. I lose my insurance at the end of this month, so even if she were able to squeeze me in for this month, I would still be out of work. So I have to wait till right before summer. I won't have insurance then. So I have to figure out how I'm even going to afford it and then how am I going to afford to be out of work while my kids are home. While my six kids are home on summer break, I'm going to be out of work as well. So it's just, she's going to put me on something in the meantime to try to help manage it. She's going to try and write me a couple months of that prescription. If my insurance will take it, that way I'm at least covered until I can even make it to summertime. But just please drop me some tips or advice or comments or suggestions. If you've already been through this, why or why not? Or I mean, I'm 38. I don't plan on having any more babies. Y'all know, we have our six. We're done. It's already so much though. You know, soccer is five nights a week, soft balls four nights a week. Like I can't imagine being down for three to six weeks. But I also can't imagine being in this type of pain every single month for the rest of my life. Nobody will do anything about the headaches because of my Kiari. And nobody will give me any certain medicines because they don't want to make my kidney disease worse. Found out that with my kidney disease, I also have liver disease. So I don't even know how I'm treating any of this because I get all the diagnosis and then my insurance was gone before I can treat it. So anyway, I'm rambling now. But if you have any suggestions or advice on a hysterectomy, I don't want to get back on birth control and then still deal with this even worse down the road. But that's where I've been not a lot of energy to fill anything outside of me working. That's all the energy I really have time for that in my family. But I love y'all. Thank you for always checking in on us. And I'm just gonna have to, I guess, put out a lot more videos on here to try to raise enough funds before summer hits. So if you have any ideas, if there's any certain content you all want to see that you think would actually go viral enough to make me a decent amount of money to pay for this surgery. Drop a hint, maybe go shop, my TikTok shop, buy some things, treat yourself. Mother's Day is around the corner, you know? Look at my hair. I'm a fucking hot mess right now. I gotta go. I love you. Drink your water. Stay healthy. Stay healthy.
