She cannot understand why the person closest to her, the woman she married, would suddenly try to kill her. With no one around to help, Jewels forces her injured shoulder back into place and keeps moving. Then she hears Jackie calling her name from the forest. Driven by survival instinct, Jewels quickly hid in a ravine. Jackie sounds scared and sorry, pretending the whole thing was an accident. For one second, Jewels almost wants to believe her, but the moment Jackie gets closer, her voice changes, and Jewels realizes the truth. Jackie is not there to save her, she is still hunting her. Jewels hides in a small dip in the ground and does not make a sound. Jackie searches the area for a while, but eventually leaves. By then, Jewels finally understands who her wife really is. But what Jackie does not expect is that Jewels has already made her way back to the cabin. She searches every room, looking for a phone or any way to call for help, but the phones are gone, and the computer is useless without a connection. With no way to reach the outside world, Jewels does the only thing she can. She takes painkillers, stitches her wound as best she can, and forces her injured shoulder back into place. The pain makes her scream, and Jackie hears it from outside. Jackie rushes to the cabin and opens the door, but Jewels is already gone.
