All just part of the process 😭

Two things I wish someone told me before I launched my small business. You have to pay for the shipping, which means if your account is almost at zero, you don't get the payout. I still haven't gotten the payout yet. So you don't have that money in your account for over a week, which means you have to pay for the shipping yourself and shipping can be thousands and thousands of dollars. My account is currently in the negatives right now. That is also another reason that we can't do the pre-rider. It is also tied into the next drop and I'm using a new manufacturer for the next drop. Before we printed on a pink fabric, now we're printing on a white fabric and we were having issues with the white fabric and the pattern and getting the colors right and switching, we can go more into this later. Switching manufacturers. The thing I learned is that in Shopify, you can create a shipping manifest so that you don't have to scan every single label individually at the post office because that's what I did. I brought in literally like 20 gallon bags of bags and I, the poor ladies at the post office, they were so incredible and so kind. I felt awful. It literally took two hours. I was adripping sweat. I was trying to scan them myself and the self scan and you have to like answer all those questions each time you put one of them in. I was like on my hands and my knees in the post office. So you don't have to do that. You don't have to do that. You can create a shipping manifest in Shopify or in Shippo. So, the other thing is that you don't have to pay sales tax in other states until you hit 100k in sales or I think it's like 200 orders per state. I think it's more, I think it more goes by 100k in sales. But I had no clue and I was trying to set up all of like my sales tax accounts and you don't need those until you've had 100k in each state.
