Before you sell at trade shows or market, make sure you know one thing. Are they your right target market? Trade shows can be really expensive. The stand itself plus the hires plus fitting out the whole place. That easily sent me back four to five thousand dollars in one day. Not to mention months of planning. When it came to actually selling on the day, I realised that they weren't my target market. For example, say you're on a beach and you're trying to sell hot soup. In comparison to the guy that's selling cold ice cream. I don't care how good your soup stand looks. I'll bet the ice cream stand will do really well.
