I don't know if it's just me, but I feel influencers demand a lot more these days. I'm a small business owner and about three to four years ago I could send a free product to an influencer and they would do a post. I had some accounts that were 100,000 to 250,000 that would do a post for free in exchange for a product. I also had micro-influences that were one to 10,000 and they did quite well in terms of engagement and sales. These days I don't think that I could get an influencer with 50 to 100,000 followers without paying them. Recently I sent products to influencers with one to 10,000 followers and while we agreed to do a post, they didn't do a post as promise, they just posted up a story of them unboxing the product and that was it. So I gather that free product in exchange for a post isn't working as good these days compared to three to four years ago. Hence why I think I might have to pay for influencers now. If you've tried this before, let me know in the comments.
