I don't know how to relate to people, I don't know how to relate to my friends and other dads when I'm present. The first cartoon I had published in the New Yorker was a dad job. I have all these jokes about a guy that I don't know. I have this wild idea that I travel to Central Illinois and see if dad would meet up with me. But I do legitimately have some questions. Where did you come from? Where did you go? Where did you come from? I feel like I orchestrated this whole thing and it's so weird. Even if he's like an abandoned me again and we get there and he's not there. At least it's a new joke. I wanted him to see me and just be like, that's the hot dot or however dad's talk, you know.
