I'm staying home mom and my husband doesn't help with any of the childcare, any of the cooking, any of the cleaning, any of picking up his own trash, any of that stuff. That's probably the number one thing that I see in the comment section of so many stay-home mom videos talking about the same subject. And what I want to know is how badly were these men raised to the point where they don't think that they even have any responsibility to take care of their own kids, or to throw away their own garbage, to put their own laundry in the hamper. As stay-home moms, our job is the childcare. Anything else that you can do on top of the childcare, if you are able to, that's amazing. My kids are now one and two, and they do play very nicely independently together, so I do have quite a bit of time during the day to get a lot of cleaning done. My husband is a sole income earner for our household. He works in between 50 to 60 hours a week out in the hot sun, so I like to do what I can to make his load easier once he gets home. But just because he has a penis on a paycheck does not absolve him from childcare responsibilities, laid down to help make those kids so I can guarantee you when he's home he's helping with those kids. A lot of moms are just so used to doing it all that their husbands really think that they just don't have to do it because they know that their wife is going to take care of it. Really important to also set this expectation before you get married, before you have kids, before you do all the fun stuff. I'm definitely very lucky and very blessed that my husband actually loves his children, and he loves to spend time with them, and that's why I do what I can during the day to when he comes home he could really dedicate his time towards his children. That being said, of course, there are days where I really just can't get everything done, and guess what? My husband's just going to step in and take care of whatever I couldn't get done. If you all men out there, you really need to get it together and help out your wife more. I promise you she's going to appreciate it.
