How did I find out that my husband was having an affair while I was on maternity leave and while we had a newborn baby at home? Um, I literally don't even think he knows this story because I just never told him how I knew I just followed for divorce and listed adultery. He had been acting super weird. I kind of made a video about the signs that he was possibly having an affair. So anyways, it was Christmas time. She was 10 months old. It's her first Christmas, and he had just been so weird. And so finally, I asked him, like, what do we want to do for Christmas? Because he hadn't mentioned any plans with his family, hadn't asked me about plans with mine. And he told me that he did not want to spend Christmas with me and our daughter. And it was her very first Christmas. So I was like, okay, yeah, this guy is totally checked out. Like, that was just such a wake-up call for me. And actually, I went ahead and called my lawyer and had her draft up the divorce papers because he was not going to spend Christmas with us. Like, for me, that was the final straw. And then, you know, we go up to my parents house, we do Christmas, we do New Year's. And then me and my daughter come home and he wasn't home when we got there. And I went out into the garage to get some tools. And I see this box in the corner of the garage. And I'm like, that's weird. That looks like a kids toy. Anyways, it was a kids toy. And when I looked at it, it was like a kids toy that had been very obviously purchased for our daughter. Like, you know, the age range and, you know, it was hot pink and everything like that. And on the box, it still had his affair partner's shipping address, or like the shipping label that had her name and address on it. I immediately knew who she was because I know her, but she doesn't know us well enough to get our baby a Christmas gift. And so I immediately was like, this is it. This is the answer as to why he has been so freaking weird. So yeah, I found out about my husband's affair that he had on... while I was on maternity leave, because he chose not to spend Christmas with his child for her first Christmas. chose to spend it with his affair partner instead. And then she bought my child a Christmas present and he brought it home to our house. I left it there with her name and her address on it. Yeah, so that's how I found out.
