The top five greatest movie remakes of all time. Number five is The Fly from the 80s. Now the original fly, I love so much. It's just can't be, be movie from the 1950s and you know, help me, help me, a Vincent Price. But the remake from David Cronenberg is actually a phenomenal film. I mean, it is really great. The gross out body horror mixed with the emotion and Jeff Goldblum's performance. It's really fantastic. Number four is The Man Who Newed Too Much from Alfred Hitchcock. Now this is a remake of Hitchcock's own film from the '30s. He remade it later in the '50s with Doris Day. It's where we get the song K Sarah, Sarah. And it's just one of the great Hitchcock thrillers. Number three, A Fistful of Dollars. Now this is a remake of Akura Kurosawa's Yo Jimbo samurai film that was then remade into this spaghetti western that I mean, basically spawned an entire genre of film that is masterful. And we wouldn't have quite in Tarantino movies if it wasn't for these. Number two, Sorcerer. Sorcerer is a remake of a French film called The Wages of Fear, which is fan-fucking-tastic. But Sorcerer is also in the same league of brilliance. But for different reasons. And William Friedkin made this film. And it's really, it often gets overlooked sadly. And it's really a shame film fans love it, but the general public seems to forget it exists. Oh, just a couple of honorable mentions. Definitely invasion of the body snatchers. I mean, that was amazing. The late '70s remake of that. Also the movie Heat is a remake of Michael Mann's own TV film. And obviously that's brilliant. I even like, oh, the evil dead remake. I love the evil dead remake. I think it's a masterpiece. Maybe the greatest horror remake of Besides the Fly. And actually besides our number one, which is The Thing.
