Um, but he makes really good points about all of these arguments about the creature in "Nope", uh, known as Genejacket, and why it has been on Earth for a long time. I agree with all of those. One of the arguments, though, is that it is from Earth because it is based on jellyfish, squid, and octopus. And while I agree that it's been here for a long time, I would say the fact that it's based on those things indicates it is very likely extra-terrestrial. 'Cause this scientist wrote a whole peer-reviewed paper about how they believe that octopus and squid are from outer space. Thus, the possibility that the cryptoserve squid and/or octopus eggs arrived in icy boolide several hundred million years ago should not be discounted. They've been here for a long time and would have evolved to our planet, but they could have just come from another planet, and I think the same could be true of Genejacket.
