"A women of TikTok just solved the Voynage manuscript puzzle." Turns out it is a women's script, not a manuscript. Hi, I'm an artistic sociologist that my special interest has been alchemy for the last decade. And as soon as I started looking at this manuscript from that context, all made sense. It is a period tracker with the moon cycles that looks like it was used by a coven of women using their menstrual blood to create some sort of chloroform fertilizer to create plants from their own wounds. Male historians have been looking at this completely the wrong way. They looked at the images and considered them nonsensical and assumed they were meant to throw the person off from the actual context of the words. So linguists have been looking at this for the last 125 years, completely unable to figure it out. Now I know why it was written by women. Women during that time period didn't have access to learning language the same way men did. They mostly communicated with each other if they were to write something like this down through pictures. What it looks like is they came up with a language gave it meaning for them to use within their own circle. That would not be translatable by the men around them because during this period is right before all the witch trials and shit and they were specifically hunting down women with this knowledge. There are even pictures in the manuscript where you see on the top you have a bunch of men like herm herm herm herm herm herm herm herm who obviously have like power and authority discussing things and then below you have the women like in a basement in secret practicing this stuff. And a video was just posted by this creator who compared the pictures in this manuscript of the plants to that lady that put her period blood in some moon water and it looks like the same kind of plants. And then you look at all the common images within this manuscript and it's all women in green baths putting seeds into the baths creating plants out of this bath and they're all green water. And then you look at the calendars within it and yes these are calendars they look just like calendars that were used during the medieval era. This is how they track time before we got the Roman calendar. And if you go within the ones in the manuscript they're all divided within 12. You have a lot of moon symbolism. They are tracking their periods using the moon cycle. And then within these different calendars they have different women during different periods of different years they have the cycle of they have like aries. They have different zodiac signs and different calendars with different women positioned at different times sitting in the baths. This is their tracker for who goes in the baths at certain times and then you have other parts of the manuscript where they have different kinds of plants associated with different periods of the year. So what they were doing it looks like is tracking their periods based on the moon cycles and looking at what plants were created during different times of the moon cycle looking at the astrological signs of the women who were participating to create different kinds of plants. And this is the knowledge they were burn in witches for. Burning the women for the knowledge of the life giving power and creative power and force of the world. Historically that is the number one thing that patriarchy has been trying to erase. The forbidden fruit, the forbidden knowledge, the real Garden of Eden, no ribbed eat it. Which made me start thinking about mitzvahs within the Jewish tradition a little bit differently. Isolating women controlling when they bathe around their period, making them be seen as unclean, untouchable. Which is the main base religion behind all these patriarchal religions that went and destroyed this knowledge. So yeah, so maybe we should all start putting our period blood in some moon water and see what happens. I think there's a lot of potential in hidden knowledge to be unlocked there.
