Well, the trailer for Netflix Wednesday series finally came out and people are upset again. It's something I heard rumblings about back when the casting was first announced, but now that there's a trailer and people have seen it, they're really upset. That Luis Guzman was cast as Gomez. And it seems the argument is that he is not conventionally attractive enough to play Gomez. Well, let's face it, they're saying that because he's not Raul Julia. Raul Julia was conventionally attractive. He was sexy in a way that people feel Luis is not. And you know what you're right? Luis does not look like him. But that's because Luis looks like the source material. Because if you were unaware, this is how Gomez was depicted in the original comic strip that is the inspiration for all things out of his family. And I would say Tim Burton's casting is pretty much spot on. So where are the purists? All those guys who get upset when the MCU changes one thing. And they're like, "Mm, and you recon you through this material, actually." Because I think Luis was a fantastic casting for this. And the contrast of his Gomez against Catherine Zeta Jones Morticia, I think is going to be a lot of fun. So I'm here for it. Peranos and all.
