Top 5 horror movies that will actually scare the shit out of you. Number 5, I'm given to the descent. The descent works on a number of different levels. You got zombie creature things down in the cave. But you also have claustrophobia, which I actually find to be the most scary aspect of the movie. The first hour of the movie is just them trying to navigate these tunnels and caves and it's horrifying. Number 4, I'm given a martyrs, the French film. Martyrs works on a disturbing level and they say that horror is meant to disturb and unsettle you. And this movie does it in spades. Number 3, I'm given to the Blair Witch Project. I mean, I just find it scary. I know a lot of people don't, but I'm a strong believer in the unseen being scary. And the whole movie is the unseen. And yeah, number 2, I'm given Jacob's ladder. I've always found Jacob's ladder to just be terrifying. And I don't know, something about it, the surrealism, the unease. If you like this list and want more about it, then don't forget to follow me.
