I'm a specialty combo voter I got a message the other day said hey man How do you manage a healthy relationship with your wife and kids while being on the road? And I got that message like two weeks ago And I still don't know how to put words to it By the only thing I can say To make it make sense is prioritize God and every aspect of your life The two biggest sins that a man is going to face while being on the road is greed and lust And if a man can prioritize self-control and a love for his woman Overlust they can overcome everything I had a fella tell me one time. He said man He said if I pick my partner I'm married my woman that's supposed to be my best friend on the planet and I go and hit a job I'm supposed to be making all this money for her and my family and I go and I go hit a job and I cheat on her And I backstab her What can I do to you? You're just my buddy And that shows a lot of character I'm going to be honest everybody they get all ganged up talking about cheating on their wives and look at this girl I bag last night yada yada yada. I don't mess with that nonsense And anybody who knows me will tell you I don't mess with that nonsense. I'll straight out call you a piece of shit For judging my character man You look foolish But the other sin is greed that we face and that's a hard one because We always want to make money. We always want to make more money and it's so hard to have a relationship and God and listen to God's voice in this trade because You have seven jobs you got seven jobs right there laid out in front of each one of each one of them pays different than the other One's got more prudence one's got less one's double time one's time and a half one's accelerator rate One's a really really good superintendent for less money one's a really shitty superintendent for more money Man, it's just It's hard to listen to God's word when there's so many options on the table So like I say you want to help your relationship with your family right or ties God and every aspect of your life You'll be happy that's what the Bible preaches us
