Actually, that would not be out of line. However, it would not paint an accurate picture of me professionally. I was speaking of like say IMDB, for example. Only has a very small fraction of the stuff that I've worked on listed there. See, unless you're working on like a big studio thing, a lot of that stuff you have to pay to get on there. Like, I don't have a picture on there because you have to pay for it. For example, I've edited over 200 music videos, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Little Wayne, Rick Ross, Pitbull. That stuff rarely gets listed on IMDB outside of the director of it, so I'm not there for most of that. I've edited several documentaries, feature length that have never been listed on IMDB. I've edited quite a few narrative feature length films, three of which I had my name removed from. Yeah, that's a thing. I worked at a studio where I didn't have a choice of what I was going to work on, like if we took the gig, we took the gig. And it was people who hired me because I had experience and had done this before and they did not, so they should be listening to my opinion. And yet, they would go, "No, just change it to whatever. This is what I want and I'm paying the bill." The result is bad editing. Like, I was actually at a premiere for a movie once that I had to edit. And then, someone's like, "Hey, don't go over there. There's a guy over there who's super mad and says that the editor sucks and this movie was ruined by him." I was like, "Cool, I'd love to meet him and talk to him about it." So I went up and told him who I was and he was like, "Oh." And I was like, "Hey, what are some of the problems you have with the film? I'd love to discuss it." And he's like, "Well, how about in the close-up this shot, this kid's holding the knife in his right hand, and then in the wider shot, it's in his left hand." I'm like, "Yeah, probably should have been in the same hand in both of those shots, huh?" And he's like, "Yeah." And I was like, "Great. Can you show me where that happened because no one paid attention to that on set?" And there is nowhere in the wider shot where he has it in the right hand. Well, then there was a scene where a guy's talking and you don't even show him. Like, you just stand this other guy. Well, he says like, "Three lines of dialogue." And I'm like, "Oh, I should have cut to him and gotten him saying that rather than just staying on the one guy, right?" "Great. Can you show me where that footage exists?" Because I can't find it. No one shot him saying those lines. Well, then you had a scene that was at night, and then the very next scene is in the middle of the day, and then the very next scene is night again, and all of them were supposed to be like seconds apart. Yeah, that's because they shot a night scene in the middle of the day, and no one bothered to look at the script and realize, "That should have taken place at night. We can only shoot this at night." But if you'd like to see some of my work, I will link my YouTube channel. It's got some short films that I've written and directed on there, and then there's playlists of like, trailers for films that I either edited or I made the trailers for them. And also, it's got playlist of the music videos, not all of them, but a good bit of the ones that I actually like and care about.
