The horrible shout of a sprout screaming out, Veggie's murder. That cute little carrot you met yesterday has been sliced up and diced up and sent on its way to that great big unlockman up there in the sky meeting its fate in a vegetable pie. You skin your potatoes, you don't hear them cry, next time just look for the tears in their eye. You mash them and smash them and boil them to death. You don't eat no meat, but you must have your veg. And nobody cares for the veg on the shelf, the grocer is grocer than anyone else. He's trading in death on a countertop scale. He just doesn't care yet he helps save the whale. The harrowing story of Peter the pea, he lived with his family all its so happily, all close together, the peas in their pot, then along comes some farmer who dicks his God, he thrashed them, smashed them, this cruel hearted animal wrecks all their lives, it was also tyrannical, he washed them and squashed them, this vegeting man, they still eat together, but now in a can. And nobody cares for the veg on the shelf, the grocer is grocer than anyone else. He's trading in death on a countertop scale. He just doesn't care yet he helps save the whale. Now people who say in me is not right, they soon change their mind if they needed a bite and were hungry, starving, and staring at death, they'd eat their pet dog before it caught his breath. But they look down on us, they say this is not right, but they'd be in their meat on a Saturday night, they say we ask them, and enough to disgrace, but it's different when someone is sat on their face. And nobody cares for the veg on the shelf, the grocer is grocer than anyone else. He's trading in death on a countertop scale, he just doesn't care if he helps save the whale.
