"Well, here's an unpopular opinion." I believe Léon Léon's Invisible Man remake is a more accurate adaptation of 50 Shades of Grey than 50 Shades of Grey is. In 50 Shades a handsome brilliant billionaire sees a woman he wants to possess owns her via contract telling her he's a sadist. But love conquers all and she slowly wins him over changing him for the better. Right. I'm just saying the Invisible Man is a much more plausible outcome to that setup. You have a handsome young billionaire who becomes obsessive with a beautiful young woman and decides he wants to possess her. So he does so through manipulation and physical and verbal abuse until she finally works up the nerve to get away from him. So he kills himself only he doesn't. Instead he invents an invisibility suit that has massive military applications but instead of selling it for trillions of dollars he decides to use it to stalk and harass that young woman convincing everyone in her life and even herself that she is going insane. And rather effectively too, the restaurant scene alone is completely bonkers. So sorry to break it to you ladies but the real Christian Grey would act like that guy.
