Top five movies condemned by the Catholic Church. Number five is the exorcist. This is the obvious one. We all know they were passing out. People were running to confession in that movie. It's pretty much a blasphemous to the entire religion. Number four, the last temptation of Christ. Now before the Da Vinci code really got people stirred up, the last temptation of Christ toyed with the idea of Jesus having relations with Mary Magdalene. And that, of course, set the church off. Number three, pink flamingos. This movie was just comedy, obscenity, and I love John Waters. I love this film, but of course it offended the church along with pretty much everybody who watches it. Number two, Psycho. Psycho was a big deal when it came out in 1960. When you watch it now, it's kind of tame, but definitely set some people saying some Hail Mary's. If you liked this list and want more about other nonsense, follow me, leave me a comment with a movie you think would set off the Catholics. Also follow my wife, Samantha, who I've tagged. Check out our podcast, Brutally Honest with Sam and Jacob wherever you get your podcasts. Number one, I don't know why, because this is really not related to Christianity. It feels like a pagan cult in the film, but maybe they just don't want people watching that at all. It's the Wicker Man.
