Top five movies that would not be made today. Number five is Soul Man. Soul Man is one of the very few movies that is actually racist. I mean, it's you just don't even look it up. Number four, the party with Peter Sellers. Now Peter Sellers back in the day was the quintessential character actor. He played every type of role and back then, you know, they'd play every race and play in the stereotypes and it was just humor back then. And it just has not dated well. And in the party, he plays an Indian man and need I say more. Number three is the toy brilliant comedy, the toy with Richard prior, but the plotline is that a young rich white child purchases a black man to be his toy. And you could probably see where that might be misconstrued. Number two, Tropic Thunder. Now to me, Tropic Thunder is comedic brilliance. And honestly, I think people should continue to push the bar with comedy and and raise the bar because that that movie did it and went to a place that so few people would actually dare to go to, but that's comedy people. It's not intended to be racist. It's intended to make a cultural statement and a statement about performers. And there's so much going on in that joke that I think people need to put aside their sensitivities and look at humor as a whole and and how healing and wonderful humor is and just kind of get over it. If you like this list and want more about other nonsense, follow me, leave me a comment with a movie that you think wouldn't be made today. Number one, could be argued as the greatest comedy of all time. The writing, everything is genius, blazing saddles.
