up five straight actors who played gay characters number five is Charlize Theron in the film monster when she played Eileen well no whatever that woman's name is let me tell you her being gay is the last thing I think of when it comes to that character she's a whole lot of other things number four Rami Malik in Bohemian Rhapsody playing Freddie Mercury and number two three with kind of the same sort of idea Terran Egerton playing Elton John in Rocket Man I thought he did a fantastic job highly underrated I actually prefer Rocket Man to Bohemian Rhapsody these women are gonna irritate me but they walk by and make all this noise shut up women number two James Corden in the prom okay this one I had a problem with because what the fuck was that I mean first of all it was like an offensive 80s stereotype of a gay person that he was playing and it just and I'm not a James Corden hater but that was a really really missed the mark moment there if you like this list and want more about it a nonsense follow me leave me a comment with your thoughts on actors who are straight playing gay characters I don't generally have a problem with it as long as it's done with the level of respect unlike James Corden's character in the prom I'll just follow my wife Samantha who I've tagged watch our brand new podcast brutally honest with Sam and Jacob wherever you get your podcasts number one this is a two-fer and broke back Mountain Heath Ledger and Jake Jill and Hall
