Top five most expensive movie scenes of all time. Number five is the junkyard scene from Transformers the last night, costing $15 million. It's a Michael Bay movie, what do you expect? Number four, cruise ship crash from the film Speed 2 cruise control. Doesn't sound like there was a lot of control there. $25 million. Somebody needed control there, spending. And this movie did not perform very well. I didn't even know there was a sequel to Speed. Number three, we've got the Rome car chase inspector. Now they apparently spent $32 million dollars alone on just the cars that they destroyed. Number two, the infamous Ben Hur chariot race scene. This cost in today's standards, around $42 million. One of the most iconic action scenes in movie history. Ben Hur would not be the movie it is without that scene. If you like this list and want more about other nonsense, follow me, leave me a comment with the movie scene that you thought would cost the most money. Also follow my wife Samantha, who I've tagged, check out our podcast Brutally Honest with Sam and Jacob, wherever you get your podcasts. Number one of this film was made back in the 60s, but by today's standards, it would have cost around $100 million to produce the Battle of Boradino from the film War and Peace.
