This is one way to create an analogy of a wormhole, but there are more glamorous ways than this. Instead of folding and stabbing a hole through space, how about cutting a slit, pushing it down and taping it. Now instead of a tunnel, we have more of a ramp through space. Just be careful not to fall off the side though, because you will literally fall off space. This world is still one for two-dimensional flatlings. Our challenge is to imagine extending this to three-dimensional space.
