Ingredients Simple syrup - 1 1/2 cup sugar - 1 1/2 cup water - Lemon peels (2 lemons) Lemonade - 5 kiwis, peeled and diced (4 diced, one mashed) - 1 1/2 cups strawberries - 1 cup lemon juice, freshly squeezed (about 6-8 lemons) - 2 1/4 cups cold water (1/4 cup for blending the fruit) - Simple syrup - Ice Instructions - In a medium saucepan pan combine sugar, water, lemon peels, and stir until sugar dissolves. Turn on low heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and steep for 15 minutes. - In a blender, combine strawberries, kiwis, and water. Blend until smooth. Strain 1-2 times depending on how thick you want it. - In a large pitcher, combine the strawberry-kiwi puree, lemon juice, mashed kiwis, and simple syrup. - Stir well. - Stir in 2 cups of cold water to dilute to your desired strength and sweetness. - Taste the lemonade.
