we’re watching a new ocean form…

Dude, a new ocean is now literally forming in Africa along a 35-mile crack that opened up through the ground and it's getting bigger every single year. So there is a massive crack that's running through East Africa where the continent is slowly breaking in half, and I'm not talking about metaphorically, I mean the earth's crust is physically pulling apart. Back in Ethiopia in 2005, this 35-mile crack ripped open in the ground almost overnight. So Africa actually sits on two gigantic, massive, tectonic plates and right now they are drifting away from each other. Slowly and constantly, satellites are literally watching this happen. They're saying that as the crust continues to stretch thinner and thinner, magma is actually rising up, earthquakes are shaking, and volcanoes form, and over time the land sinks. This is quite literally the same exact process that formed the Atlantic Ocean. Over millions of years, sea water from the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean could flood in and fill this gap, which would create an entirely new ocean and split apart Africa into two land masses. This is how new oceans are born, and we are literally sitting back and just looking at the fact that the earth is not finished changing.
