We have officially entered day six of the U.S. Iran War, and it is not slow and down. Firstly, yet another new country has been hit for the first time an Iranian drone struck an international airport in Azerbaijan injuring two civilians. A second drone fell near a school building, and now Azerbaijan is vowing a response. We also found out today that Iranian bombers were less than two minutes away from striking the largest U.S. military base in the region, which typically housed around 10,000 U.S. service members, before Katari planes shot them down in their first aerial combat mission. Also, today, three people are being killed in the UAE after a missile and six drones fell inside the country. Several European nations have announced today that they are coming to the aid of fellow EU member Cyprus, with the Netherlands, France, Spain, and the UK promising to send naval assets to protect the island. Also, Italy promised to send air defenses to Gulf countries. It has also been a big day for evacuation flights out of the Middle East. Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and other European countries have successfully landed several repatriation flights evacuating many of their citizens out of the region. This is while the UK's repatriation flight did not take off as planned on Wednesday evening due to technical issues. Also, according to Cyprus' Ministry of Defense, the drones that hit the UK military bases were not launched from Iran. However, they did say that they were "shahid like" implying that it was "made" by them. Most reports currently indicate that Hezbollah are the ones most likely to have launched those drones from Lebanon. And lastly, not much has changed in terms of strikes. Iran has continued their strikes on Israel and several Gulf countries, or the U.S. and Israel have continued their attacks on Iran and Lebanon. Make sure you follow to keep up to date and see you tomorrow.
