There's been no other point in human history where a population would have accepted such mass treachery by their government or ruling class. Politicians were hung for a fraction of what they're currently doing. And they get away with it, with approval rates of less than 10%, if that's real, if it's even 10%, I would argue it's less than 1%. We are being governed by people that every single person hates and yet they manage to claim onto power and they don't do it only to steal silently, they steal publicly. Not to do small things, it's not tiny transgressions, it's literal genocide of native populations, they're getting away with it. And at any other point in human history, the politicians would be fearful of the people for a fraction of the crimes that are currently being committed by the ruling class across the entire West. How did they get away with this? They got away with it and they're still getting away with it because the mass demoralization has been incredibly successful. It has been massively successful.
