If you eat fermented foods like yogurt and kombucha, you'll be consuming probiotics, which is going to increase the amount of good bacteria in your gut. If you eat certain fiber rich foods like apples and oats, you'll be consuming pre-biotic fiber, which is going to feed the probiotics. If you eat complete proteins, so like that found in chicken or certain protein powders, then you will be supporting your immune system, your muscle health, your hormone health, and pretty much every system in your body. If you eat foods with digestive enzymes in them, such as pineapple, papaya, mango, or you could also take digestive enzyme supplements, which is what I do a lot of the time. It's going to help you to digest and absorb the protein, the carbs, the fats, the fiber, and all of the important micro nutrients that our bodies need to perform at their best.
