How do you say "go" in Russian? We use four verbs "хадить", which means "to go", "ET", which means "to go", "Ездить", which means "to go", and "Ехать", which means "you guessed it", "to go". Now, how are they different? Remember, "хадить" and "ET" are short distance. Roughly somewhere in your city. "Ездить" and "Ехать" are long distance. Somewhere you can only get to in a vehicle and would normally plan a trip for. Now, what's the difference between the short distance "хадить" and "ET"? Super easy. "Я хожу" means "I go". For example, "Я хожу в спортзал каждый день". "I go to the gym every day". "Я иду" is "I am going". For example, "Я иду" спортзал завтра. "I am going to the gym tomorrow". And the exact same difference between the long distance "Я езжу" and "Я еду". "Я езжу" is "I go". "Я езжу в спанию каждый лет. I go to Spain every summer". "Я еду" is "I am going". "Я еду в спанию этим летом". "I am going to Spain this summer".
