You don't want more views on your content. You don't want more views. For a lot of people getting more views is going to do you more harm than good. I need more creators to grasp this concept because if you understand this, you're going to be way more successful with your content. I was doing an audit for a member of my community just their night. And she asked me something that I get asked all the time. How do I get more views on my content? How do I get more reach? How do I go viral more frequently? And when I looked at her account and what she's using it for, she doesn't need more views. And more views is not going to help her. It's going to do the opposite. This creator uses her going to sell a very specific coaching program. She has a coaching program for a very specific type of person. So yes, she could create content that gets more views. But by doing that, she's going to have to make her content broader and reach a colder audience, an audience of people who are not ready to buy her program. So instead, she needs to focus her content on people who are at the right stage of awareness, who are ready to buy. Yes, that's going to result in less views on her content. But it's going to convert better into sales for her. She can either get in front of 100,000 people who are not ready to buy and maybe never will be or get in front of 4,000 people who are ready to convert right now. And yes, she should maybe throw in one of those broader posts every once in a while, maybe one in every four videos, just to increase that reach and raise awareness among that colder audience. But the majority of her content should be focused on the audience that's likely to convert, even though that is smaller. The internet has taught us that we need to chase views and we need to chase reach because more reach equals better results. That's not true and it's not how the algorithms work anymore. Reach is attention, but relevance is revenue. And 10 perfect clients is going to serve you much better than getting in front of a million people who are just watching your video for mild entertainment while they're on their lunch break.
