Understanding a little human psychology will make you lethal at content - this is one of maybe 5/6 different angles I take in my yapping to camera videos… articulate your ideal follower / ideal clients pains, problems and inner world in oddly specific detail & they will be locked in. it signals to them, you get it. you see them. and when someone feels deeply understood they will automatically assume you must also know the solution. this is how you build trust & connection with your audience. this is how you get someone’s guard to come down & selling becomes simple. #contentcreation

Say you're in the interior design DIY space, you could start a video. One of your hooks could be how to turn your Pinterest board into reality in five steps. Or you could say something like, you avoid having people over at your home because your space, your home, doesn't feel like how you wanna be perceived. The second one just lands so much harder because you have just named an oddly specific thing that I feel, we've called it out something I'm too embarrassed to admit out loud and so now I'm locked in. Before people are ready to listen to your tips or your solutions, they have to feel like you get it. They have to feel seen and understood. Say you're in the money finance space, a hook could be how to do better with budgeting as a high earner or it could be something like, you make a lot of money but you overspend on gifts and things for your wife and kids to make up for your physical and emotional absence. Here's what we can do about this. Like if you can start to call out the things that your ideal follower is too embarrassed, too ashamed to say out loud and you start saying those things in very specific detail, they're gonna lock in. They're gonna be like, this person, they get me, they feel me and when we feel seen, we feel loved. When we feel seen and understood, now we're ready for the solutions. But if you're just all you're talking about is the solutions, the tips, the how-tos and it's not landing, you need a little more emotional resonance in your content. I would encourage you regardless of what you're talking about to have some yapping videos where you just describe how your ideal follower is feeling.
