Build a book with me where I take these three bowls and randomly pick out of each one of them and come up with a book scenario. Let's do this. It's only have tropes and I'm gonna pick two, so the first is brother's best friend. Okay, okay. And the second one is one bed, baby. Okay, and then this one we're gonna do, it's like place, I think, or sub-genreau, college. Okay, this is so fun. Okay, and then lastly, we're gonna do micro trope. Secret tattoos. Let's go! So why did my mind immediately go to a romance where her and her twin brother are seniors in college? And one night she lives off campus at a house, she loses power, it's the middle of winter and she's like, "Yeah, I'm not having this." So she decides to walk to her brother's apartment, which she forgot was like 45 minutes away. So by the time she gets there, she is shaking, right? She knocks on the door, thinking her brother's gonna be there, but no, who is it? It's his roommate/best friend who's been in her life her entire life, right? And she looks at him, she's like, "Hey, it's my brother here." And he's like, "Um, actually, no, he's at a girl's house for the weekend." And she's like, "What? Well, actually, no, it doesn't matter. Like, I am freezing. Like, can I just crash in his room?" And he's like, "I just need to sleep." And he's like, "Yeah, that's gonna be a little bit of a problem." And she's like, "Why?" And he goes, "Well, he's gone because he actually broke his bed and it doesn't get delivered to Monday. He needed to place this day." And she's like, "What?" And he's like, "Well, um, and he looks at her." And she's like, "I mean, shaking at this point." And he's like, "Why don't you just sleep in my bed?" And she's like, "No, I can't do that." And he's like, "Please." "You're honestly about to get hybrid with her, man." And it's freaking me out. Just come sleep in my bed. And she's like, "Okay, so she finally gets in his bed. He gets in there and she's still shaking." So finally, he's like, "Screw this." And he's like, "Whip's off his shirt and he grabs her and he just like brings her into him." And she's like, "What are you doing?" And he's like, "Please, just, I can't, I can't take your shaking." And she just, like, my body heat will help. And she's like, "Okay, so she finally relaxes into him and starts kind of like tracing his tattoos all over his arms and his chest." When she sees Alili, and she's like, "What is this for?" And she's like, "What are you talking about, Alili?" And she's like, "Um, the Alili tattoo?" And he's like, "Oh, um, that's just like my good luck charm for hockey games." And she's like, "Alili is a good luck charm for hockey game." And he's like, "Yeah, that's five, so we don't want to talk about it." And she goes, "Why is it Alili?" And he just kind of looks at her and he goes, "I think you know why." And she's like, "Tell me what it means." And he's like, "I don't think you're ready to hear what it means." And then she goes, "Well, why don't you show me?" And he's like, "That? I can do." And then he kisses her.
