Build a book with me where I pick out of these three mugs and whenever I get I have to come up with a book scenario for it So let's do this. First we have tropes which I'm going to pick two of the first is single dad Okay, okay, then we have For bit in okay, okay, then we're gonna have the place. So where does this story take place? We have a small town Cute cute cute, and then we have micro trope. I love a good micro trope. It's literally the best Jealousy, mm-hmm, let's go. So why do my money immediately go to a story where she moves back to her small town to be closer to her family But when she gets there she has trouble finding a job So her older brother's like hey my best friend Maverick's got two girls. He's looking for a nanny Why don't you like help him out until you find a full position? And she's like oh my god, that one workout perfect thing. He's like yeah, but no funny business right and she goes First of all, he'd be my boss Second of all I'm a grown woman and I can do what I want. He's like oh, yeah, yes You can but if something were to go wrong you are my sister and I'm always going to choose you and I would lose my best friend And she's like yeah, no, I get it no funny business. It's fine And so she starts working for him and she falls in love with his two girls And she even finds herself like having a little friendship with him So she stays late to watch TV or movies with him which leads to like prolong eye contact like him pushing hair behind her ear You get it until one night. She's at a bar. She's had a couple drinks. She's on the dance floor when her brother's best friend locks in And he doesn't take his eyes off of her right and she's having a good time and she's dancing for this man Okay, she knows she shouldn't but she can't help herself And he has this like slight little smirk on until some guy comes up behind her and starts dancing So she tries to push him away But he doesn't take no for an answer when all of a sudden she feels like this looming presence over her And she looks up and answer brother's best friend He's just looking at the guy and he goes if you don't take your hands off of her in the next five seconds I will break every single finger as I peel them from her body and the guys like whoa, man I didn't know she was yours and she looks up at him She's like yeah, I didn't either and she like stomps out right so he follows her He's like, what the hell was that? She goes, I don't know what were you doing? He's like, um, that guy wasn't taking no for an answer. She's just like, oh my god I had it handled and he just like rolls his eyes She's like, oh my god, you're jealous. He's like of what? And she goes of me and he's like, you are my best friend's little sister and then nanny to my girls And she goes and the woman you want and he like turns away and kind of like takes his jaw And she's like exactly so many turns and like cages are in he's like, and what do you want me to do about it? She's like, I want you to do one of two things Either you walk back in there and pretend none of this happened and we can move on with her eyes Or I want you to act on your jealousy And he's like, you know I can't and she's like, huh? So you are jealous and he's kind of like smirks And he's like, fuck it and then he kisses her
