Hi, I'm Jordan. I've done over 14 million in GMV since I started Tiktok Shop with over 10 million of that being just last year. I'm about to film in this shirt, so I'm going to show you guys the thoughts that kind of go through my head in order to make a really good ad in my opinion. So I'm going to do a bad ad versus a good ad so you can hopefully see the difference. I'm a visual person, so that's just how I like to teach. When I first started Tiktok Shop, I made $0 for like my first six months, so I'm going to show you what kind of content I was making when I wasn't bringing in sales, and then I'll do a good example. Is this not the cutest little shirt you've ever seen? I absolutely love the yellow, like how good is that? It fits so good. I'm going to be wearing this like all spring, so soft too, which is super nice. Nice and flattering up on the top, and I feel like it's just going to match with everything in my closet. I'm just so happy that I got it. I'm 5'2", I got a size small for reference, and if you're looking for more cute spring tops, I would go buy this right now. Okay, bad visuals, they're really boring, they're really static, I'm just standing in one spot. There was no emotion pulled out of that whatsoever. It was just about as basic as it gets, and nobody felt like they needed the shirt after they watched it. There was no styling, there was no problem solved, there was no examples of how or when I wear it. No visual hook, no call to action, like it was a little pushy at the end saying go buy this right now, like I never say that, that's immediately an ad in someone's brain. Let's do it again with some strategy. I hate nothing more than when I get a tank top, and I can see this like little flap right here. Look at the cut of this one that I found. It quite literally covers it perfectly, while still getting to show off your arms. And I love how tan butter yellow makes me feel, but it is so hard to find a yellow that's not super see-through. I'm wearing a full bra under here, you can't see it at all. You also don't have to worry about feeling saggy in this one, because it is thick enough to wear a full bra underneath and hide it. Nice and lightweight where you're not going to get hot. I mean with jeans or jean shorts, just slicing it up with a little purse or necklace, you're good to go, especially with all this little detail. It makes it look way more fancier than it actually is. Honestly, I feel like I'm barely wearing anything. I know the butter yellow goes pretty fast in the spring just because this is like the color of spring. So I really hope this one is still in stock if you also adore this color. For a reference, I'm 5'2", I got a size small and it fits very true to size. Okay, so in that video we played on emotion, we played on insecurities that people might have, we used personal stories, we really related to the customer. We showed multiple different angles, we're up close, we're far away, all the things, I'm explaining how I wear it, where I wear it, what I wear it with. I'm explaining all the concerns one might have when they go to buy a tank top, is it see-through, can you wear a bra, like is it heavy, is it lightweight, is it scratchy, is it itchy, what's the sizing? Basically giving them that digital fitting room experience, I call it, because it is hard to buy online, I mean people don't want to have to deal with returns, like they don't want it to show up, they've probably been failed before by things that they thought were just cute. So you kind of have to answer all those questions with your content, so by the end of it, they're good. I just went from a shirt that is cute to a shirt that actually solves problems and has all the features that they've never been able to find before.
