All right, welcome to part one on how to film like a top 1% affiliate. Now, for part one, there's going to be two main things that I want to hit on. Filming style and scripting. Now, for this video, I'm going to be using three affiliates as examples. Mikey, Jake, and Josh, three of the best content creators I know and who are all coming off incredibly strong months. Watch this. Seriously, guys, what are we doing to our dogs? We know how bad microplastics are for us. So why are you giving it to your dog? Now, watch this. Take your old lawn chair and get rid of it. Because Timber Ridge just dropped their new flow motion. And this is the only way I'm going to watch my kid soccer game this year. Because unlike your average lawn chair, this thing actually rocks. It's got a super wide seat for no matter what you're packing. Phone holder on this side. Now, watch this. Briefcase. Picnic table. Briefcase. Picnic table. This is a briefcase picnic table that starts like this and opens up into this. It's got four individual seats that holds up to 265 pounds. A beautiful wood grain style fit. I think we can all agree that all those videos are incredibly captivating. Let's break it down. Take a look at how they're filming. Every clip is very short and every clip starts with brand new movement. There is nothing stagnant about any of the videos that those three guys film, which that keeps the viewer visually stimulated throughout the entirety of the video. I dare you to try to find a video on Mikey or Jake's page where they're just standing still in one position holding the same frame. It doesn't exist. Quick cuts with movement, angle, and depth changes with everyone. And the other thing that I think is necessary to call out here is that they're editing and you're editing for these types of videos must be as crisp and clean as possible. Those really clean, fast paced edits give the video an extremely high quality feel. Now for scripting, which goes hand in hand with how they're filming their videos. Did you notice how everything was simplified and dumbed down? Each clip they filmed was maybe around one to two sentences at best. And when you shorten your sentences and divide them up like that, it gives you more opportunity to add more movement to the beginning of each of those new clips. So to sum up, what these top 1% affiliates do, they keep it fast, they keep it moving, and they keep it simple.
