People don't give you what you deserve. They give you who they are. I want you to read that again because once that mindset shift takes place, it changes everything. The person who never apologizes, that's not about you. They've never learned to take responsibility for their actions. The person who can't communicate well with you, who doesn't show up for you, the way you show up for them, can't give you the love that you need. That's just who they are. They are acting from their capacity. So stop believing that this is about you because it's not. You cannot expect loyalty from a person who's disloyal. You cannot expect honesty from a person who's dishonest. You cannot expect truth from a person who constantly lies. They are giving you what they have, not what you deserve. So understand it is not about you and there's no amount of patience, prayer, begging. None of that's going to change the person. That's not your job. Only the creator can do that. So people don't give you what you deserve. They give you who they are. Stop judging your worth from what broken people have handed to you. Love you.
