Messi Is FIFA’s PROTECTED Man 💀 #messi #fifa #fifaworldcup

If there is one footballer on the planet who was favoured by FIFA, it's Lionel Messi. And I'm not the only one saying it, don't call me crazy. Go back to the 2022 World Cup, it was blatant. Argentina were getting decisions that weren't even debatable. Virgil Van Dyke's face after that quarter final said everything. It was the look of a man who had just realised what was going on. And in this tournament, I saw the exact same expression on Lema. Pure irony, looking at the referee like the fix was in, it feels like the same script is being followed. Messi is FIFA's protected man, opening game first half. Messi plans to stamp on an opponent from behind. If that's any other player on that pitch, it is a straight red card. No hesitation. But because it's Messi, VR didn't even call the referee to the monitor. Not even a yellow card. The Algerian players were stood there, arms out, completely dumbfounded. They knew it was a red. We all knew it was a red. And what happens next? Hat trick. The World Cup has its Hollywood story and the money rolls in. FIFA are milking Messi's image for every last drop before he retires. Everyone is tuning in after that hat trick, after the two goals against Austria. I'm even stopping everything to watch Argentina, so tell me. Which referee is brave enough to send off Messi 30 minutes into the opening game? He'd be sacked before he reached the tunnel, but I'm not going to ignore it. These first two Argentina matches have been officiated with a clear bias. Go and watch the incidents back in detail and then tell me I'm wrong. But here's the other side, and I have to say it. None of this erases his genius. That Argentina team runs like maniacs to steal the ball back. They give it to his feet and he simply solves the game. That is not normal. You can see his football IQ is on a completely different stratosphere to everyone else on the pitch. Every defender knows they need to stop him, and none of them can. There's no tactical explanation for that. So yes, the protection is there, but the magic is also painfully real. Both things can be true, and you can absolutely hold me to this. Next World Cup, if Messi isn't on that pitch, Argentina won't get half the favourable treatment they're getting there, mark my words.
