I've been wrapping cars for years. This is the first time I've ever actually been nervous. A client came in knowing exactly what he wanted. Matt Purple with a matte black color shift to it on Amers 80's EQS 580. He was getting it for his wife and that's what she wanted so he found the exact one. I had never read one of these before but that wasn't what was making me nervous. I'm always wrapping cars that I've never done before but it's always usually the same process, the same techniques. You use them for one car to the other. What was different here is that we're going with a color ppf. This is a new film that hasn't been around for too long. A bit of them wrap. It'll last way longer but the install is a bit different. You can't use a hegan, the material is way thicker. It doesn't really want to bend but it does want to stretch but if you stretch it a little bit too much it'll shrink and if you want to cut it it doesn't really want to let you cut it and that's something I could work with but the brand yes came out with these materials so not a lot of people have used them and when I checked around online just for some tips most people were mentioning how difficult it is everyone was having a really hard time installing it and this has happened before. I don't really look for help but when I do I don't really find it. A lot of times we're working with products that a lot of people aren't using because they do cost a bit more but I would like to mention that this brand is a trustworthy brand so it's not just a random brand I'm using but it's a different new product that they released so when we scheduled this core in I went ahead and bought extra material. I was expecting to mess up and I was expecting to mess up a lot. I bought a lot extra because my goal is to make it come out as nice as possible even if it means I make less profit and no I didn't charge the customer extra for that material because if I didn't use it I was just going to make a video with it and I was really worried and worried for nothing because because they install when super smooth, and look how good it looks.
