I will eat my words on this, going past 20k steps is no longer the method, all right? So between 15 and 20,000 steps, there's obviously a lot more adaptive or expenditure adaptation, excuse me. So meaning that like the first 10,000 steps you got burned a significantly higher portion of calories compared to the 10,000 after. So in any case, it's really not worth it to go above 15,000, 20,000 steps a day. No, that was actually always the case. It's just that people started realizing it's only recently. After they've seen those recent couple of studies, where subjects, well, impact of daily steps on overall daily expenditures start and dropping exponentially after approximately 13,000 steps mark. Why? Because most people are running on that weird or sort of logical notion that no amount of steps can lead to an immeasurable amount of fatigue which couldn't be further away from the truth. The whole secret behind adaptive thermogenesis isn't in the fact you miraculous start burning significant less calories by doing the same task or action, doing the same number of steps. It's in the fact that body's extremely efficient composition theory machine body always finds subtle, very efficient ways to preserve energy that compensate for any additional expenditure you got to choose steps, for example. So basically body finds ways to decrease resting expenditure when or not making a conscious effort to burn more calories. It takes away from the expenditure which usually comes from neat. I explained this because they'll entice you in my videos in depth. If you're curious about that, watch those videos. I won't throw a whole yapachon. So yeah, getting daily steps can only get you so far. I won't play the rest of his jab. He basically screwed up because he started talking about benefits of doing festive cardio. He's going to a cardio like they're superior to any other form of cardio. They're not. Another thing I explained in my videos. But yes, if steps were the solution, chances are virtually everyone who's step-moxing TD, moxing would have my caloric maintenance might TD, but there's just another case. If those daily steps go as any measurable amount of fatigue, even if you don't feel like they do, it'll take away from the resting expenditure throughout the rest of the day when you're not making a conscious effort to burn more calories, to stay as active as possible. How the fuck am I supposed to increase my expenditure? Your whole life has to revolve around well being active training. That's how. And based on a pattern we observed in those studies, basically studies focused on the expenditure coming from neat and some sort of FADHD will most likely help with that because usually people who have ADHD can't see it's still they're fidgeting. They're making a lot of subconscious moment all the time. That's how they burn a bunch of additional calories without being aware. And no, I think aiming for a specific number of steps is on a gray weight. The burn more calories is just that it only goes so far. You have to aim or refine the specific number of steps, which will give you the most bang for the buck. It'll basically burn the highest amount of calories you see. Can't without negative affecting your energy levels throughout the rest of the day. It won't take away from the expenditure coming from neat. It won't turn you into a sofa, into a couch throughout the rest of the day.
