This is cement. This is concrete. What's the difference? Cement is a fine powder used as a binding ingredient. Concrete is the hardened mixture of cement, water, sand and gravel. This is mist. This is fog. What's the difference? Mist is made of tiny water droplets that reduce visibility, but you can still see more than one kilometer ahead. Fog is thicker and denser, reducing visibility to less than one kilometer. This is a herb. This is a spice. What's the difference? A herb comes from the leafy part of a plant and is usually used fresh or dried to add flavour. A spice comes from other parts of a plant, such as the seeds, bark, roots or fruit, and is almost always dried before use.
