More employers need to be held accountable. This is absolutely true because when you hold employers legally accountable for the mistreatment, for the injustice, for the unlawful practices that they engage in, you know what that does? It makes it cost them money to sustain those practices. It can no longer be financially profitable to engage in abusive conduct, to engage in unlawful conduct that violates your legal rights. When you speak up, when they retaliate, they need to pay. They need to face the consequences of them doing something that is against the law. And when they face accountability on a regular basis, guess what happened? They have to change the model that they operate under because it is not financially sustainable to operate in that manner and guess what they value the most money. So when you take it away from them, they will know how to learn and do better.
