Did North Korea just win? Because this has probably got to be one of the most successful years of Kimi's life. Not only did South Korea's president just propose official talks to formally end the Korean War, which has technically been ongoing since 1953, making it one of the longest ongoing conflicts in modern history, but also Donald Trump just agreed to scale back their annual military drills with South Korea, saying they sent a totally inappropriate and hostile message. Even describing North Korea as being unthreatening and respectful. But Kim's ATH doesn't even stop there, because he's got not one, but two global superpowers competing for his attention. Bachelor Kim is crazy. He's traditionally North Korea was pretty much reliant on China for trade, but then the Russia-Ukraine War kicked off and everything changed. Putin hit up Kim, saying, "Yo, we need more weapons and men to fight." Kim, he said, "I got you, Poots, but I'm gonna need $10 billion." An amount equivalent to a quarter of the entire GDP of North Korea. And so not only did that deal flood North Korea with cash, but it's even got major Western media outlets like the Wall Street Journal writing headlines, like "The world's most surprising economic success story is North Korea." And they've been paying out with this money. We're talking BMW dealerships. Over-style ride-hailing apps, QR code, restaurant payments, head stores, gaming cafes, they've built more new homes than LA or Chicago. They're even paying me to make this video. I'm kidding, seriously? That is a joke. And despite four years, almost every expert saying that North Korean collapse was imminent, not only has their regime now outlasted the freaking Soviet Union, but North Korea's economy has now grown over 10 percent combined in the last three years. That's now bigger than before they were hit with global sanctions. How? Kim, they were supposed to break you.
