Nobody asked me but I'm going to tell you about the full app that are generally changing how I shot and how I think about my wardrobe because I feel like people generally need to know. So firstly we have Shop My. So Shop My started as a platform for creators to share affiliate link and honestly I used to scroll past it but then they launched their consumer app called Circles and now I actually use it to shop. You follow creators who's taste you trust, their recommendation, shape your feed and everything is shoppable with just one tap. No algorithm that decides what you see. Just people with good taste curating things that they've actually bought and used has 200,000 creators on the platform and facilitates over a billion dollars in sales annually. But the reason I keep going back is that I trusted more than my for you page. Secondly we have Locker. Locker is what I wish I had had for the last 10 years of online shopping. You save anything from a website, any brand, any product, into different collections, a trips of Paris, a wedding guest, that light jacket that I'm thinking about for autumn and you can share those collections with friends or follow other people's. It's been described as the Pinterest for shopping and honestly that's exactly what it is except everything is actually shoppable. Founded by Christine Locker who got tired of copying and pasting links into spreadsheet, same girl, I get it. It's free and I'm so obsessed with it. Thirdly we have Fear. I know there's a lot of backlash around the platform at the moment but I'll tell you this. Fear is an app that I didn't know that I needed until I had it. It's a price comparison and resell value tool for fashion. So before you buy something, it tells you what the same item costs across different retailers and what will be worth on the second hand market once you're done with it. It launched in April 2025, had 500,000 users within five months, raised $8 million from Client Perkins, and indexes over 300 million second-hand items. I generally can't believe that this didn't exist before. The amount of times that I've bought something and seen the price drop two weeks later. Fear has a price tracking feature for that too, so I'm fine. And lastly we have index. So there a digital wardrobe platform with a difference. So instead of asking you to do all the work, it matches you with a real human stylist who organizes your wardrobe and builds outfit suggestions based off clothes that you already own. It's not all those AI-generated combinations. An actual person looking at your actual clothes making actual decisions. The styling sessions are also virtual. The wardrobe lives within the app. The whole thing is built around the idea that we don't need any more clothes, which I agree. You need to see the ones that you have differently. I find that generally interesting, especially in a space that's obsessed with selling something new. So here are four apps, none of them are trying to sell you something. All of them are making shopping and getting dress feel a lot less chaotic. And honestly that's rare.
