A very nice woman called to ask if her husband, who was just released from the hole in federal prison, could call me, I said, "Sure, when he called me, I learned that he got jumped, he got beat up in prison, and when there's a fight they sent everyone to the hole. The story proves prison is a warped world as much as you may think it's a country club or club fed. This issue with this prisoner nearly happened to me. When I was in prison the last eight months of my journey, I swept floors. And even though I did my job, some prisoners not only didn't do their job, they would offer instructions until prisoners had to do their job better. Are you sweeping the floors? I see dust over there. I'm walking down these floors every day to my cubicle. You better clean it again. We're going to have some problems. I heard that one time I continued to do my job, kept my mouth shut and this instance, this prisoner back east, was told by someone, "Do your job again. I don't like it." It's not clean enough and instead of walking away, he said, "You don't even do your job. You're instructing me to do my job better. How was that fair? Prison's not fair. It's warped. They beat the hell out of this guy. God they I want to the whole for two months and he called. He's struggling.
