I played in a charity golf tournament with a retired Major League Baseball player who in his career earned more than $10 million in part by cheating. He took steroids for a number of years, never caught that it was no secret I've known him since college. Following this golf tournament he was lamenting the lawlessness that he thinks exists in California with people who can go into stores and steal things of $950 or less without getting caught and as I'm listening to him lament I'm thinking of myself how ironic he doesn't consider the fact that he cheated and advanced his own interest ahead of minor legars who didn't cheat and take steroids. He didn't didn't consider that a problem yet he's complaining about mothers who may go into a Walgreens to steal pampers and and baby food. This is a nice enough guy that he seems miserable since his retirement he's put on a lot of weight he drinks he smokes and while he may get in his Tesla and drive to his multi-million dollar home in New Port Beach I wonder if the cheating is weighing him down if he wonders these possessions that he has could he have acquired them without cheating so here's the the best part of my coming home from prison. I had a chance to do it the right way starting from from absolute scratch I wondered if I could do it the right way and I developed self-esteem when I said I was gonna do something and I did it I have more leverage or power as a consulting helping people go to prison than I ever did as a securities broker or or real estate agent people are vulnerable when they reach out to me and I'm always aware of that so if you're watching this and if you cheat and you never get caught it's gonna weigh you down and you're always going to wonder could you have attained the things you think are so important to you without cheating I love my life because everything that I have acquired since my release from prison I've done through hard work the right way and so doing doing it the right way I've gotten everything I've ever wanted I hope these lessons are a value to some of you
